I know a dude in Vegas named Joe (TRUE STORY – The best horse racing handicapper in Las Vegas)

Las Vegas is a city of stories, everyone has one like a sign hanging around your neck. About every 30 minutes someone new rolls into town, just sold everything they own, packed up the car, and rolled up a stake to take on the mighty Las Vegas. It’s the same story everyday because the carnage of someone’s dream is displayed in the impressive skyline. When you are stripped of almost everything, Las Vegas won again, and all you have left is a tale to tell. Vegas has an impressive record and takes on all comers. There is a record that you tell your friends, and the one that the casino knows, but don’t worry your secret is safe with the casino. It is as if an invisible number is floating over your head keeping track of the real score as you place your next bet.

Yes… amazingly, I am one of those who moved to Las Vegas, and only lived there for a short time. However, when I think about my life in Las Vegas and those who I have met over the few years I lived there. One person sticks out in my mind, I would say he is most definitely a unknown bright star in the gambling world. The person that comes to mind, is one of my good friend Joe. A few weeks after moving to Las Vegas, I first meet Joe at a coffee shop to buy auto insurance, who would of ever known Joe such has such an amazing skill. What is interesting about Joe is he has a little talent that not many people know about, it’s called handicapping. Also, there is one other important little detail I left out, he is doing it for the hell of it. Well, what so interesting about that? Handicappers have many fish stories and always boasting of the one that got away. If Joe loses, “Darn I’ll get them next time…” But Joe has a curious, but impressive record. His craft is to predict the out come of a sporting event. Joe likes the horses and he likes the over-under in NBA basketball, but that’s not how he makes his living. Joe makes his living from behind a desk 9-5, so Vegas is safe, and the real record is 0-0 all tied up. Come for the sports picks, but stay for the insurance. Thanks Joe, your a stand up guy.
Joe showed me this one day, he slipped in rank a few, now 28th, still impressive, but he was in 6th out of 6000 a few days ago!
